Getting started
Install the app on your phone
The Darts App works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers, at play.thedarts.app. The iPhone and Android apps aren't in the App Store or Google Play yet. You can add the web app to your home screen so it opens full screen, with its own icon.
Step by step
- Open the app in your browserGo to play.thedarts.app in Safari on an iPhone or iPad, or in Chrome on Android.
- Add it to your home screenOn iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open the Chrome menu and tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Open it from the iconTap The Darts icon. It opens without the browser's address bar.
On a computer
Chrome and Edge show an install button in the address bar. Installed, the app opens in its own window. You can also keep using it in a browser tab.
One account everywhere
Sign in with the same account on each device and your games and stats follow you. Games played without an account stay on the phone or browser they were played on until you save them. See Create an account.
Notifications
Push notifications are switched on per device, in Settings → Notifications. On an iPhone or iPad, Safari only allows them for a web app added to the Home Screen, so add it first. See Notifications.
