Getting started
Create an account or sign in
An account is free. Open Create account from Home or Settings, and sign up with Google, Apple or an email address. You need to be 13 or older.
Step by step
- Open the sign-up screenOn Home, tap Create free account, or in Settings tap Create account.
- Choose how to sign inTap Sign up with Google or Sign up with Apple, or enter your email and choose a password of at least 8 characters.
- Confirm your emailIf you used an email, we send a confirmation email. Tap the link in it, or type its code on the screen.
Ways to sign in
- Google or Apple: one tap, no password.
- Email and password: tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen if you need a reset.
- Email me a sign-in link instead: we email a link and a code, so you can sign in without a password.
Adding another way in
In Login & security you can change your email, set or change a password, and connect Google or Apple to the same account. You can't remove the last way you sign in. Sign out of all devices there signs out every phone and browser, including lost ones.
What an account adds
- Your averages, checkouts and records on every device you sign in on.
- Friends, head-to-head and game invites.
- Running tournaments, with QR sign-ups.
- A profile with a display name, handle and photo.
Games you played without an account
If you've been playing without an account, signing up saves those games to your new account. Signing in to an account you already have moves them into it. See Play without an account.
