Playing and scoring
Enter scores during a game
The keypad sits at the bottom of the game screen. In X01 you can score each dart or type the total of each visit, and switch between the two with Darts and Totals above the keypad.
Dart by dart
- Tap a number for a single. For a double or treble, tap D or T first, then the number. The keypad goes back to singles after each dart.
- Hold D or T to lock it for the darts that follow, which helps with treble 20 or doubles practice. Tap it again to unlock.
- The bull key is the outer bull (25); D then the bull key is the bullseye (50). There's no treble bull.
- Tap 0 for a dart that missed the scoring area.
The visit goes in after the third dart, or as soon as a dart busts or checks out. The line above the keypad shows the last visit, so you can check it before the next player throws.
Visit totals in X01
With Totals, type what the three darts made and tap OK, tap one of the common scores, or tap Bust. When a visit could have finished, the app may ask how many darts it took or how many went at a double, so your checkout % stays accurate. To make Totals the default, turn on Enter X01 visit totals in Settings → Scoring.
Cricket marks
Cricket on the standard board uses a smaller keypad with 15 to 20 and the bull. Enter each dart as it landed: a single is one mark, a double two and a treble three, and the scorecard adds the marks and points for you. Tactics, Mickey Mouse and Random Cricket use the full keypad.
Who throws first
The first player in the lineup throws first. On the setup screen, tap Me first or Shuffle, or in X01 use Bull for throw to pick whoever landed closest to the bull. In a match the throw alternates every leg, and in sets the side that didn't start the previous set starts the next.
