Leagues
Score a league night in the app
Once a night is locked, its games can be scored in the app. The players in a game, either team's captains and the organizers can score it. At a venue with the Venue plan, its crew can too, and can call games to the venue's boards and kiosks; see Use a tablet as a board kiosk. Finished games go straight to the night's score.
Step by step
- Lock the nightWith both line-ups in, a captain, the league's owner or an admin taps Lock the night on the night's page, or it locks itself at the start time.
- Open a gameUnder Play, tap Score next to a game.
- Score the legsIf the rules settle the first throw by cork, say who won it first. Then enter each visit as in any game. The game moves to the next leg until it's decided.
- Carry onBack on the night's page, the game shows Finished. Score the next one from any phone.
Scoring elsewhere and taking over
A game being scored on another phone shows Scoring elsewhere. Captains and organizers see Take over next to it. Taking over stops the other phone, and you carry on from where it left off. While a night is suspended, only the organizers can take a game over.
Without signal
Open the night's page once after it's locked, while you have signal, and the phone keeps the night's games. A game can then start and carry on without signal; the app says “No signal: scoring on this device. The legs save when it's back.” If they don't sync once the signal returns, see My game didn't sync.
When legs aren't saved
If the league refuses legs this phone scored, the Play section shows Some legs weren't saved with the reason. The game's score is what the league has; ask the organizers if it needs correcting.

Results by hand and corrections
To enter a result without scoring it, tap the game under Games and pick the final score. Captains can do this from the day before the night until either side confirms or disputes, or the result is confirmed or settled. They can't once a leg of the game has been saved from a phone, or while the night is suspended or postponed. A result entered by hand closes the game, so a phone that started it stops. The owner, admins and results officers can tap Correct on a finished game scored in the app to reopen it at its last leg, and change a result entered by hand from Games. Changing the result clears the night's confirmations.
