Confirm or dispute a league result

When a night is finished, captains are asked to confirm the result. Until then it counts in the table, flagged as waiting for the captains. A disputed result is left out until the organizers settle it.

Step by step

  1. Open the nightTap Confirm the result on the league's Overview, or open the night from Fixtures.
  2. Check the gamesLook over each game's score under Games.
  3. Confirm or disputeTap Confirm result if it's right. If not, tap Dispute, say what's wrong, and tap Dispute again.

Who confirms

Results confirmed byWhat happens
Both captainsEach side confirms. The page says who it's waiting on.
Home captainOnly the home side confirms. The away side can tap Dispute the result.
Nobody (automatic)The result stands once the night is finished.

Once either captain has confirmed or disputed, only the organizers can change a game's result.

Confirming on its own

The rules' Confirmed anyway after (hours) setting, 48 hours unless the league changes it, confirms a finished night that isn't fully confirmed and isn't disputed, including one where only one captain has confirmed. Any change to the result starts the clock again, and a dispute stops it. Set to Never, a night waits for the captains.

Disputes

A captain can dispute a finished night while the season is running, including once both sides have confirmed, with Dispute the result. The night shows Disputed with the note. The owner, admins or a results officer correct any game that needs it, then tap Settle with this result, which confirms it. The owner and admins, when they don't captain either side, can also tap Confirm for both teams.

Suspending a night

If a night under way runs out of time, tap Out of time? Suspend the night under the Play list. A captain taps Ask to suspend, and the request waits for the other captain, who sees Review on a banner. It can be taken back with Take back the request, and lapses after a week. The owner or an admin suspends it at once. You can add the date it resumes, which can't be in the past. A night that hasn't started can't be suspended; postpone it instead.

Finished games stand, and the rest carry on another night from where they stopped. While it's suspended, no new games or legs start and line-ups can't change. To carry on, tap Resume on the Suspended banner. A captain's request to resume also waits for the other captain.
