Troubleshooting and contact
Notifications aren't arriving
Start in Settings → Notifications. Every notification also shows up in Activity, so you can check there whether it was sent.
Step by step
- Check push on this deviceIn Settings → Notifications, make sure Push on this device is on. Each phone or browser is switched on separately.
- Send a testTap Send a test. If it arrives, push works, and the kind you're missing may be switched off under Notify me about.
- Check your device settingsIf the switch is grayed out, notifications are blocked for The Darts App. Allow them in your phone or browser settings.
Allowing notifications
- iPhone and Android apps: Settings → The Darts App → Notifications. On Android 13 and later, the phone asks when you turn the switch on.
- A browser: click the lock or site icon next to the address, then allow notifications.
- Safari on an iPhone or iPad: push works only once the app is added to your Home Screen. See Install the app.
When no push is sent
- For something you did yourself.
- For a repeat of the same notification within an hour. Activity updates, but your phone doesn't buzz again.
- When it couldn't be delivered within 15 minutes. It stays in Activity instead of arriving late.
- To a phone or browser you've signed out of. After signing back in, check that Push on this device is still on.
- To older devices, once an account has push on more than 20 phones and browsers.
Other things to check
Focus or Do Not Disturb on your phone can hold notifications back. Playing without an account, you only get pushes about tournaments and replies to your feedback. If the switch says notifications aren't set up in this version of the app, push isn't available there yet, but Activity still has everything. If none of this helps, contact us and say which phone or browser you use.
