Share a tournament and show it on a TV

Every tournament has a share link. Anyone with it can follow the draw, results and standings without an account. While the tournament is taking entries, the same link is where players sign up.

Step by step

  1. Open the menuOn the tournament page, tap the ⋯ button for Tournament actions.
  2. Share itTap Share link…, then Share link, or let people scan the QR code.
  3. Put it on a TVOnce it's running, tap Open TV view on the screen you want to use.

Signing up from the link

While the tournament takes entries, its page shows a Sign-up link card with a QR code. The link opens a page with the start time, your note and who's in. Players tap Join tournament, or Join as a pair and pick a friend or name a partner. Someone not signed in is asked to sign in first and comes straight back. Someone playing without an account joins as they are.

Once in, players see You're in, with View to open the tournament's page (their matches, their board and the draw), can Pull out, and can turn on Notify me when I'm up. If joining from the link is off, the page says entries are taken at the door.

Following along

Once it starts, the link shows Playing now, Up next, Results and the bracket or standings, and keeps itself up to date.

The TV view

The TV view fills the screen and keeps it awake. On a TV the draw sits beside the matches being played, with a QR code to scan to follow along. Anyone with the link can open it with Show on a TV. Tap Exit to go back.

Replacing the link

While the tournament takes entries, New share link in its sign-up settings makes a new one. The old link and QR code stop working.
