Your account

Delete your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Login & security. It can't be undone, so download your data first if you want a copy.

Step by step

  1. Download your dataIn Settings → Privacy & data, tap Download my data to save a copy as one JSON file.
  2. Open Login & securityIn Settings, tap Login & security, then Delete account… at the bottom.
  3. ConfirmType your account email and tap Delete my account. If you signed in with Apple on an iPhone, Apple asks you to confirm too.

What's removed and what stays

  • Removed for good: your profile, photo, players, Friends, venues, and every game no other account took part in, including games you scored for people without an account.
  • Games you scored with other accounts stay in their history, with you shown as “Deleted player”. Games someone else scored keep the name they gave you.
  • A tournament you're running that other accounts are in is canceled, and its results are kept for them.
  • If you own a venue, its staff are emailed that it has closed.

Without the app

Go to thedarts.app/delete-account. Sign in there and the delete option opens straight away. If you can't sign in, enter the email you signed up with and tap Email me a link. If it has an account, we email you a link to sign in and delete it. Nothing is deleted until you confirm.

Playing without an account

Open Save your games and tap Start over at the bottom. It deletes every game, player and stat on that phone right away. Otherwise they're deleted after 30 days without play.
